Mary Peterson, who was the costumer with The Lion King and recently worked on some special costumes for Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City. will conduct a costuming class on "body distortions” which will include corseting, padding, and creating other silhouettes for a performer in ways that are clever and quite affordable.

Mychelle Hopkins will conduct the acting class which will include ways to explore and develop a character as well as to examine the communication between the actor and the director.

The scene design class with David Len will include script analysis, developing a floor plan and elevations plans, and preparation of a simple model.

The registration fee for a master class is $55 for CTAM individual members and $65 for non-members. The fee for lodging and meals is $172 for a double and $205 for a single. The fee includes two nights lodging and five meals (Friday evening through Sunday morning). The registration deadline is July 6. Payment is made to CTAM for both the registration and the lodging and meals.
